After NeNe Leakes called into The Rickey Smiley Show, the radio personality launched a “Free Sweetie” campaign.

The campaign pokes fun at Sweetie’s controversial relationship with her boss, Kim Zolciak.

While some people are getting a kick out of the joke, Sweetie herself is not laughing.

Kim’s assistant told Life & Style magazine:

“They’re doing it for Black History Month, and it offends me. They have pastors calling into the radio station and praying for me. They’ve taken it too far. NeNe’s jealous that she’s not as close to Kim as I am. I’ve known Kim for 11 years, since I was a kid. Kim’s a great friend to me. NeNe’s traumatizing my life. She’s bringing hell to it.”

Kim also chimed in:

“I never want to speak to NeNe again. My assistant Sweetie is so upset about the whole thing, she’s beside herself. NeNe has problems.”

Apparently, Kim Zolciak’s complicated romantic life – which includes 12-second stints as a lesbian and several years of being someone’s mistress – warrants her enough knowledge to pen a book passing off relationship advice.

No really. Some publisher actually believes this.

The ‘Tardy for the Party’ singer just signed a deal with Farrah Gray Publishing, the same book publishing house who just released former NFL wife Shanae Hall’s relationship/advice book, ‘Why Should I Think Like A Man?’ They are one of the largest African-American owned book publishing companies in the country and have also have titles by Flavor Flav, Ky-Mani Marley, Victoria Rowell, and Russell ‘Russ’ Parr, to name a few.

The company’s founder, Dr. Farrah Gray, thinks that Zolciak is a perfect addition to their roster of authors.

.”I’m thrilled to have Kim apart of my publishing house, her upcoming book is sure to wow fans everywhere. She is sassy, smart and sophisticated,” he told BlackVoices.com exclusively today.

So Kim Zolciak will be offering advice on love and happiness. I’d rather leave her literary brilliance be limited to a tweet about her favorite brands of wine.

By now we’re used to the back and forth that goes on when it comes to rumors about reality stars, especially when their shows are either on air or about to return. In this case, People is reporting that Kim Zolciak is not engaged (as per Zolciak’s rep). However, she is really pregnant.

Reports surfaced last week that Zolciak was expecting a child with boyfriend Atlanta Falcons defensive end Kroy Biermann, followed by rumors that he had popped the question.

“She is definitely not engaged at this time,” her rep told People.

Yet that doesn’t mean the expectant mom isn’t thinking about marriage. Sources close to Zolciak say the Bravo reality star, 32, hopes to marry Biermann, 25, but that she’s not in any rush to walk down the aisle. That makes perfect sense, baby first then wedding. Riiiiight.

I’m guessing this will all play out next season.

Not only is Kim Zolciak pregnant, but she’s apparently set to get married to the father of her child.

According to Marc Malkin at E! Kim is set to marry her NFL boyfriend Kroy Biermann and may be mulling the idea of a spin-off.

A source confirms that the two are engaged to be hubby and wife.

The lovebirds apparently trying to keep it secret in order to get paid to announce that the Atlanta Falcons star popped the question shortly after Zolciak told him she was preggers.

And it sounds like Ms. Kim is hoping to follow in the spinoff footsteps of Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel. Zolciak and Biermann are said to be shopping around a reality show of their own.

Those of us who partake in The Real Housewives of Atlanta know that cast member Kim Zolciak loves her wine and her cigarettes.

However, with her recently announcing her pregnancy, most assumed that bottle of Merlot and those Newports were being put away for a good while.

That is, until TMZ put Kim on blast with a photograph of her smoking a cigarette while believed to be pregnant.

They report:

Kim Zolciak from “Real Housewives of Atlanta” took a smoke break while watching an NFL game a few weeks back — it wouldn’t be a big deal … but Kim is three months pregnant.

Here’s the timeline: the photo was taken in Atlanta on November 7, outside the Georgia Dome. Two weeks later, Kim and baby daddy Kroy Biermann (who plays for the Atlanta Falcons) announced they were expecting.

In case you’re thinking “Maybe Kim didn’t know she was pregnant when she decided to smoke” — well, think again. Kim told a tabloid this week she denied the pregnancy rumors in October because “[I] wasn’t through my first trimester — you never know what could happen.”

Exactly.

Kim responded via Twitter: “Goood Morning! Please don’t believe all u read! I woke up to some more BS in the press!! Imagine that?!!”

She claims the picture was taken two months ago.

Despite denying it on Bravo’s Watch What Happens on Sunday by way of asking if she was fat, Kim Zolciak is in fact pregnant with her third child.

On Monday, Kim announced via Twitter that she and boyfriend – Kroy Biermann – are expecting their first child together.

Kim wrote: “We are happy and excited to announce that Yes we are expecting.”

She has also given the details exclusively to Life & Style — including being disgusted by her ex-girlfriend who shared the news without her consent.

“While it wasn’t planned, God clearly has a bigger and better plan for us and we’re excited.”

At first, Kim denied reports that she was pregnant when a jealous ex leaked the news back in October. “I was appalled and disgusted by that,” she says. “I wasn’t through my first trimester — you never know what could happen.”

But now Kim is three months pregnant and ready to share the wonderful news, telling Life & Style: “I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.”

Biermann appeared on a recent episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

There were rumors last year that Kim Zolciak was in trouble of being dropped from The Real Housewives of Atlanta by producers.

She and NeNe Leakes ultimately announced that they would be a part of the third season.

However, did Kim go the extra mile to make sure her spot was secured?

That’s the word according to the National Enquirer.

The tabloid claims that Kim basically employed a gay for pay strategy to extend her 15 minutes.

They report:

Faced with the prospect of losing her gig on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Kim knew she needed to bring more drama onto the reality show this season – and that meant bringing her lesbian lover, celebrity disc jockey Tracy Young, to town.

Kim found her love life boiling over in Miami in late February when she was shuttling between two hotels, trying to spend time with both her boyfriend/sugar daddy Lee “Big Poppa” Najjar and Tracy – and both found out. But it looks like Kim, 31, has made her choice.

“But the only business Kim had in mind was seduction,” the source revealed.

The Enquirer claims that producers were “struggling” to come up with a storyline for Kim. I guess the girlfriend of a married man who sometimes dates women will work this fall.

Although they’re normally battling each other on a given season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, it looks like this fall we can look forward to frenemies NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak tag-teaming each other as they battle the Notorious Q.U.E.E.N., Dwight Eubanks.

According to Radar Online, the two double-teamed Dwight after he spread some nasty rumors about those two.

I’m sure that’s something his upcoming “wife” will be interested in learning about.

Here’s how an eyewitness described the fight to Radar:

“Dwight was at the hotel for what he thought was going to be a casual meeting,” the source tells RadarOnline.com “But instead the producers had their own plans as they brought in Kim and NeNe to confront Eubanks about several issues, only for Dwight to call them out.

“NeNe and Kim came storming into the hotel and got straight in Dwight’s face, accusing him of spreading lies about them and making up rumors.

“It was absolutely crazy! NeNe and Kim were both screaming at him, and he gave back as good as he got. Dwight started yelling at NeNe that she was nothing but a common prostitute and that she had hooked up with a married man, and he totally trash talked Kim too.

“NeNe lost her temper and attacked Dwight with a chair, breaking off a leg and Kim threw a vase at him! It was like a scene out of some crazy movie!

“Security rushed over and had to split them up, then NeNe and Kim stormed out.”

Yeah, they knucking and bucking and ready to right.

I cannot wait. While I enjoy the New York series and am thankful it will be the New Jersey cast with the first public arrest, there’s nothing like the housewives of Atlanta.

Pardon the brother who had way too much coffee, ya’ll. I’m sure when you have to wake up that early every day you need a little something to get “geeked up” with, too.

Then again, why wouldn’t anyone get excited about any news related to The Real Housewives of Atlanta?

Kim Zolciak and the show have been subject to rampant rumors in recent months. There was talk that she and NeNe Leakes were out. Then came word that maybe Lisa Wu Hartwell or Sheree Whitfield were leaving. After that was speculation about whether a soap star or entertainment lawyer would be joining the fold.

As for Zolciak herself, well, many were beginning to wonder if she was dating on the same side of the gender aisle these days.

However, in this interview “Big Poppa’s” other woman confirmed that she’s not a lesbian and that she’s in fact back with her infamous married beau from the series.

Zolciak also made it known that the show will be having a new housewife, only she just wouldn’t say who.

While I am enjoying The Real Housewives of New York, I can’t wait until Bravo brings it back home to ATL in the coming months.

When I heard that the new Atlanta housewife would be a well-known entertainment attorney I was  full of glee as this might be the second housewife with a credit score not as low as the grade level of elementary school.

Yes, Phaedra Parks sounds a lot like Atlanta’s answer to the Real Housewives of Orange County’s Vicki. You know someone with a legitimate 9-5.

I should’ve known there was more to the story. This is Atlanta and it wouldn’t be right if they got someone completely on the up and up to join the cast.

Media Take Out claims Ms. Parks’ man has a bit of a criminal past.

They report:

“Sounds like a good choice right. A powerful woman with her own career. Well, it gets a little complicated. You see a few months ago Phaedra got married to Apollo Nida. And well, as the below evidence suggest – dude had some problems.

Do you think it’s odd that such a successful high-powered woman would marry a man like that? Does he deserve a second chance? We’re not sure how we feel about this.”

I imagine if Parks is an entertainment attorney in Atlanta she’s used to dealing with men who’ve been locked up (no shade intended, but c’mon nah, folks) so I don’t see the big deal.

As long as he doesn’t steal any of the cast mates cars before they return them to Hertz and Enterprise (minus, Kandi and the woman with a sugar daddy, naturally) they should be fine.

And I sidenote, there’s word going around that NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak got their requested raise.

I’m not mad at them. You can’t be on one of America’s funniest shows (scripted included) and be treated like you need a Pay Day Loan.
