After NeNe Leakes called into The Rickey Smiley Show, the radio personality launched a “Free Sweetie” campaign.

The campaign pokes fun at Sweetie’s controversial relationship with her boss, Kim Zolciak.

While some people are getting a kick out of the joke, Sweetie herself is not laughing.

Kim’s assistant told Life & Style magazine:

“They’re doing it for Black History Month, and it offends me. They have pastors calling into the radio station and praying for me. They’ve taken it too far. NeNe’s jealous that she’s not as close to Kim as I am. I’ve known Kim for 11 years, since I was a kid. Kim’s a great friend to me. NeNe’s traumatizing my life. She’s bringing hell to it.”

Kim also chimed in:

“I never want to speak to NeNe again. My assistant Sweetie is so upset about the whole thing, she’s beside herself. NeNe has problems.”

It looks like the fourth season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta will end the way the second season did: Marred in mystery over who will and who won’t return.

Indeed, NeNe Leakes says she’s not really sure if she’ll be coming back for a fourth season of the show – a bit of déjà vu from last year.

In an interview with Zap2It, on whether or not she’ll return to the show again NeNe says, “I’m just not really interested right now.”

Soon we’ll all see NeNe on season four of The Celebrity Apprentice so perhaps that has something to do with it.

If she doesn’t return to the show that made her famous, NeNe still seems to have plans to keep her life active.

She told Zap2It that she’s working on a shoe line, a handbag line, her local Atlanta talk segment and has a desire to start producing radio and TV shows.

When asked on Twitter if she was really leaving, NeNe replied: “No more time 4 DRAMA.”

If I were her I’d stuck around for at least another year. She may be the most popular of the Atlanta housewives, but those of us who saw the most recent episode realize that may not be for the best reasons anymore. It’s better to leave on a good note.

Apparently, Kim Zolciak’s complicated romantic life – which includes 12-second stints as a lesbian and several years of being someone’s mistress – warrants her enough knowledge to pen a book passing off relationship advice.

No really. Some publisher actually believes this.

The ‘Tardy for the Party’ singer just signed a deal with Farrah Gray Publishing, the same book publishing house who just released former NFL wife Shanae Hall’s relationship/advice book, ‘Why Should I Think Like A Man?’ They are one of the largest African-American owned book publishing companies in the country and have also have titles by Flavor Flav, Ky-Mani Marley, Victoria Rowell, and Russell ‘Russ’ Parr, to name a few.

The company’s founder, Dr. Farrah Gray, thinks that Zolciak is a perfect addition to their roster of authors.

.”I’m thrilled to have Kim apart of my publishing house, her upcoming book is sure to wow fans everywhere. She is sassy, smart and sophisticated,” he told BlackVoices.com exclusively today.

So Kim Zolciak will be offering advice on love and happiness. I’d rather leave her literary brilliance be limited to a tweet about her favorite brands of wine.

When NeNe Leakes suggested both on The Real Housewives of Atlanta and in recent press that she was ending her marriage with Gregg Leaks, many assumed she meant what she said. You know, with her always “keeping it real” and all.

NeNe did say that Gregg was trying to keep the marriage alive and in a new interview with The Root he said as much.

On keeping the spark in their relationship, Mr. Leakes said:

“Love is really not love until it’s faced with controversy and then the real love will display itself. As you go through life and challenges…and people are aware that my wife and I are going through a bit of a storm, but that’s okay.

I love my wife very much and my wife loves me very much and we’re gonna fight to retain what we have. We’re not quitters and we’re not going to give up easily…”

On whether or not he and NeNe still sleep in the same bed:

“Now you’re going personal. Now you know you wouldn’t ask your uncle where he sleeps.”

As far as NeNe’s relationship with Cynthia Bailey’s husband on the show, Gregg dismissed it as “editing.”

Not only is Kim Zolciak pregnant, but she’s apparently set to get married to the father of her child.

According to Marc Malkin at E! Kim is set to marry her NFL boyfriend Kroy Biermann and may be mulling the idea of a spin-off.

A source confirms that the two are engaged to be hubby and wife.

The lovebirds apparently trying to keep it secret in order to get paid to announce that the Atlanta Falcons star popped the question shortly after Zolciak told him she was preggers.

And it sounds like Ms. Kim is hoping to follow in the spinoff footsteps of Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel. Zolciak and Biermann are said to be shopping around a reality show of their own.

Those of us who partake in The Real Housewives of Atlanta know that cast member Kim Zolciak loves her wine and her cigarettes.

However, with her recently announcing her pregnancy, most assumed that bottle of Merlot and those Newports were being put away for a good while.

That is, until TMZ put Kim on blast with a photograph of her smoking a cigarette while believed to be pregnant.

They report:

Kim Zolciak from “Real Housewives of Atlanta” took a smoke break while watching an NFL game a few weeks back — it wouldn’t be a big deal … but Kim is three months pregnant.

Here’s the timeline: the photo was taken in Atlanta on November 7, outside the Georgia Dome. Two weeks later, Kim and baby daddy Kroy Biermann (who plays for the Atlanta Falcons) announced they were expecting.

In case you’re thinking “Maybe Kim didn’t know she was pregnant when she decided to smoke” — well, think again. Kim told a tabloid this week she denied the pregnancy rumors in October because “[I] wasn’t through my first trimester — you never know what could happen.”

Exactly.

Kim responded via Twitter: “Goood Morning! Please don’t believe all u read! I woke up to some more BS in the press!! Imagine that?!!”

She claims the picture was taken two months ago.

Despite denying it on Bravo’s Watch What Happens on Sunday by way of asking if she was fat, Kim Zolciak is in fact pregnant with her third child.

On Monday, Kim announced via Twitter that she and boyfriend – Kroy Biermann – are expecting their first child together.

Kim wrote: “We are happy and excited to announce that Yes we are expecting.”

She has also given the details exclusively to Life & Style — including being disgusted by her ex-girlfriend who shared the news without her consent.

“While it wasn’t planned, God clearly has a bigger and better plan for us and we’re excited.”

At first, Kim denied reports that she was pregnant when a jealous ex leaked the news back in October. “I was appalled and disgusted by that,” she says. “I wasn’t through my first trimester — you never know what could happen.”

But now Kim is three months pregnant and ready to share the wonderful news, telling Life & Style: “I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.”

Biermann appeared on a recent episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

You would think after a while the women who make up the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta would learn to pay their bills.

You know, given multiple cast members have been put on blast (but never Kandi Burruss) for failure to pay a car note, legal bill, mortgage, etc.

And I hate to say this because she’s been highly entertaining this season, but didn’t Sheree Whitfield just get her Aston Martin taken away from her because she owed a law firm some money? Yes, the one she was driving around in on the most recent episode.

Now there’s yet another story about her owing people money. This time, it’s a private investigator.

TMZ has the details:

Sheree hired a private investigator named Dwayne Alexander back in 2005 to dig up dirt on her then-husband, ex-NFL star Bob Whitfield — but according to a court order obtained by TMZ … she still owes him $28,858.93 for snooping services and interest.

Now, Alexander’s gone way over her head to get the money, firing off a letter to Bravo – the network behind “Housewives” — claiming he plans to garnish Sheree’s wages from the show to settle the debt once and for all.

Sheree’s lawyer claims Alexander’s judgment is “void” — telling us, dude “has no idea what he’s doing in a court of law and what he’s trying to do is improper.”

Well, I hope that works out, Sheree.

For those of you keeping up with The Real Housewives of Atlanta, you know that the newest cast member, attorney Phaedra Parks, has been the breakout star – for all of the wrong reasons.

Like being an attorney married to an ex-con (although love is love…or something) and more importantly, acting like she’s high class because she fries her fish in an expensive pan and can name drop.

I think those of us who saw her and her husband sucking on a pickle during a photoshoot to denote “art,” know better.

But for those who are into that sort of thing, Phaedra is offering fans an opportunity to break bread with her.

Indeed, the Southern Rural Black Women’s Initiative has partnered with the lawyer-turned-reality star to auction herself for a dinner.

The starting bid is $300.00 but they value the dinner at $2,500.00.

But, according to Rhymes With Snitch, that’s only covering Phaedra’s appearance.

Recently both Sheree Whitfield and NeNe Leakes admitted to BET that neither is sure just how much longer they can go on with The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

While Sheree has tried to pursue an acting career, NeNe has started doing entertainment segments with a local Atlanta news station.

Could that be prep for something much bigger, say a talk show?

That’s one rumor floating around:

The big insider buzz is that NeNe Leakes is in negotiations for her own talk show. Will she be the new Oprah Winfrey? After all, it is Oprah’s last season. Astrochicks could totally see Nene Leakes pull it off. She would be a cross between Wendy Williams meets Oprah. Cosmically our girl is ready to fly, no husband or her reality show, Real Housewives of Atlanta will hold her back. You go girl.

Alright, so while I can’t rule out a scenario such as this completely, I will say I can’t expect NeNe to be anything like Oprah. I bet the only thing they have in common is a penchant for pig feet.
