Parent Sues ‘Tyra Banks Show’

It seems one mother is alleging that her child appeared on a show about sex addicts without her consent.
Indeed, Beverly McClendon filed suit in an Atlanta federal court claiming Tyra Banks, along with Warner Bros. executives and producers of The Tyra Banks Show failed to get her consent to allow her 15-year-old daughter to appear on an episode about sex addiction.
Jewel Ciera Washington apparently appeared on the show after responding to an open call for self-described sex addicts on the show’s Web site.
The mother of the teen is suing on the grounds of negligence and asking for an injunction for any future airings on the episode.
In legal documents, McClendon has alleged her daughter’s appearance has led to her receiving unwanted attention from “sexual deviants, perverts and pedophiles alike.”
